The Business Challenge Award - People with different mindsets coming together

We strongly believe that people with different mindsets are key not only for co-creation and great business ideas but also for getting things done.

That is also why we are one of the partners and sponsors in the network Business Challenge. Business Challenge brings start-ups, entrepreneurs, experts, students, top executives as well as leaders and venture capitalists through a platform including a pitch-competition, business development program, events and other initiatives in entrepreneurship and innovation.

Involving and engaging the existing business community in future growth companies has proven to be crucial in getting companies to develop and grow. Something Investor has been involved in since 1916. Through our network, knowledge and experiences we contribute to building best-in-class companies

On the 15th of October 2019, a pitch-event was held at Grand Hotel to appoint the Best Company and the best Newcomer. Fifteen companies presented their ideas and business model for 75 jury members from the business elite.

The award for Best Company was given to Virkesbörsen, a digital marketplace for selling and buying wood and timber.
And the award for Best Newcomer was given to Volta Greentech, a company battling global warming by reducing methane emissions from cows.
